The Event

In 2023, VietHarvest will launch the inaugural CEO CookOff event inspired by its sister organisation OzHarvest.

All funds raised will enable VietHarvest to expand its food rescue mission in Ho Chi Minh City after successfully launching a pilot in Hanoi in June 2022.

This unique and magical event will bring together 50 Vietnamese and Australian business leaders who will team up and cook with 10 top chefs and serve a meal to hundreds of dinner guests from charities and social impact organisations providing them with a magical night full of love, respect, dignity and gourmet meals. It will also highlight the issues of hunger and food waste.

The event will be hosted by the InterContinental Saigon, from 5pm - 10pm, coinciding with the eve of United Nations' World Environment Day on Sunday, 4 June.

The first-ever CEO CookOff started in Sydney by OzHarvest. Since its inception in 2012, the CEO CookOff™ has enriched the lives of 9,000 vulnerable guests and 1,000 of Australia’s top business leaders. It has raised more than $12.5 million dollars for those in need, allowing OzHarvest to deliver 25 million meals across Australia.
