Cage-Free Eggs by SanHa
Starting in 2024, SanHa will officially transition to a cage-free farming system for egg-laying chickens, marking an important turning point in the company's commitment to ethical and sustainable food production. Inspired by the remarkable efforts of Humane Society International (HSI) - the world's leading organization on animal protection - SanHa sets a goal that by 2028, 100% of SanHa chicken eggs will be produced from cage-free farming system. This model gives hens a more spacious living environment, allowing them to express natural behaviors, reduce stress and contribute to improving the health and spirit of the chicken flock.Realizing this commitment, SanHa has cooperated closely with the Vietnam Association of Farm and Agricultural Businesses (Association). The Association will play an important role in providing technical advisory support and expertise, helping SanHa develop and apply cage-free farming methods suitable to actual conditions in Vietnam. SanHa believes that transitioning to a cage-free farming system not only benefits animals but also contributes to creating a more sustainable food production system. This model helps reduce environmental impact, improve product quality and meet growing consumer demand for ethically produced food.
