The Event

After an inaugural launch event in June 2023 which helped to establish VietHarvest's operations in Ho Chi Minh City, VietHarvest is excited to bring leaders together for a second impactful and magical event in 2024.

This unique event was inspired by its sister organisation OzHarvest in Australia. 

All funds raised will enable VietHarvest to expand its food rescue mission in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and go towards establishing a Nourishing Hub in Ho Chi Minh City. 

This unique and magical event will bring together 40 Vietnamese and Australian business leaders who will team up and cook with 10 top chefs and serve a meal to hundreds of dinner guests from charities and social impact organisations providing them with a magical night full of love, respect, dignity and gourmet meals. It will also highlight the issues of hunger and food waste while showcasing practical and innovative solutions. 

This year's special event will be hosted in Ho Chi Minh City from 5pm - 9pm on Wednesday, 17 July 2024.

The first-ever CEO CookOff started in Sydney by OzHarvest. Since its inception in 2012, the CEO CookOff™ has enriched the lives of 9,000 vulnerable guests and 1,000 of Australia’s top business leaders. It has raised more than $12.5 million dollars for those in need, allowing OzHarvest to deliver 25 million meals across Australia.
